GOLDEN GLOBES 2015 – THE MOST EXPENSIVE JEWELRY ON THE RED CARPET

This year’s 72nd Golden Globe Awards opened the 2015 award season in glamorous fashion, even in spite of the unusual rainy weather. While it seemed there was more glitter and sequins than sparkling jewels, the pageantry of red carpet jewelry was carried on by a number of Hollywood’s most stylish leading ladies.
Diamonds won the award for most popular precious gem as seen in the chandelier earrings, solitaire studs and bounty of bracelets glimmering under the endless camera flashes on the crimson carpet.
Emily Blu
White was certainly a favorite for dresses this year, and Emily Blunt added a touch of color to her Michael Kors Grecian goddess-inspired gown with a suite of diamond and Paraiba tourmaline floral jewels by Lorraine Schwartz.
Lorde
One of the few to wear a statement necklace, Lorde wowed in her Deco-style diamond collar by Neil Lane.

Naomi Watts
The ever elegant Naomi Watts added some sparkling radiance to her canary yellow Gucci column dress with a Bulgari diamond Serpenti necklace and a diamond circle brooch at her cinched waist.

Claire Danes
The Homeland actress brought out the deep blue flower accents of her intricately embellished Valentino gown with sapphire earrings, a sapphire ring and gem-set bracelet all by Lorraine Schwartz.

Jennifer Lopez
Bringing her signature glam look back to the red carpet, Jennifer Lopez wore a silver-beaded beige Zuhair Murad dress that rivaled her memorable green Versace number from the 2000 Grammys. Lorraine Schwartz diamond scarf earrings and a diamond ring amped up the shimmer of her dramatic look.

Julianne Moore
The winner for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for Still Alice, Julianne Moore shined in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tischi gown complete with plenty of sequins and feathers. Her Chopard diamond cluster earrings, bracelets and ring kept in tone with her silver ensemble.

Julianna Margulies
The Good Wife nominee paired her red floral Ulyana Sergeenko gown with a suite of diamond jewels by Bulgari.

Viola Davis
Also in red, Viola Davis wore an impressive diamond bracelet and diamond earrings from Fred Leighton to highlight her regal red Donna Karen Atelier dress.

Jessica Chastain
Jewels by Piaget added some sparkle to the actress’s plunging metallic Atelier Versace gown.

Reese Witherspoon
The Wild actress nominee evoked old-Hollywood glamour in her Calvin Klein shimmery dress and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

Kate Beckinsale
The presenter lit up the red carpet in this Elie Saab dress with its beaded bodice and matching Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

mal Clooney
The stylish wife of George Clooney appeared statuesque in a black Dior gown with elegant white gloves and to-die-for diamond shoulder-duster earrings by Harry Winston.
