OSCARS 2015: HOTTEST JEWELS OF THE NIGHT FEATURED

The Oscars is undeniably one of the most glamorous events of the year. Color, vibrancy and plenty of dazzle usually take centre stage, however, 2015 saw a more refined and subdued glamor as Hollywood A-listers donned frocks and jewels in soft, muted colors. There were of course, a few risk takers that added drama into the otherwise very sophisticated style choices of the night.
Here are some of my personal favorites from the event.
Margot Robbie

The Australian actress looked incredibly stunning on the night in a floor length Saint Laurent gown, however, her Van Cleef & Arpels statement vintage necklace made sure all eyes were on her. Originally made for the Duchess of Windsor in the 1930s, it is crafted in yellow gold and is embellished with diamonds and sapphires.

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett played it safe in a long John Galliano for Maison Margiela dress which she accessorized with a statement Tiffany and Co. turquoise necklace. I loved the vibrancy and fun element of the piece especially as her gown was so simple.

Gwyneth Paltrow

While I was not a huge fan of her Ralph & Couture custom-made gown, I did however, love her Anna Hu Haute Fire Phoenix Earrings. The stunning pair feature two pear-shaped cabochon Rubellites weighing 101 carats and two pear shaped Rubellites weighing 22,88 carats set in a blaze of white and yellow diamonds, blue pink and purple sapphires, spinels, Paraiba Tourmalines and white gold.

Jenna Dewan Tatum

Looking beautiful as always, Jenna Dewan Tatum wore a Zuhair Murad Couture gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz diamond encrusted earrings. The earrings (just the perfect amount of dazzling while not being overpowering) brought the whole outfit together and made her look effortlessly chic.

Viola Davis

How To Get Away With Murder Star Viola Davis is always a fierce contender on the red carpet and this year was no exception. She paired a Zac Posen champagne number with magnificent jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels that featured diamonds and pearls.

Zoe Saldana

Bringing elegance to a whole new level, Zoe Saldana set off her pink Atelier Versace Gown with a 100-carat pear-shaped baguette and round-cut diamond and platinum necklace by Neil Lane worth $1 million. The jewels added a perfect amount of bling to a very chic and sophisticated dress.
